I recant my earlier statement that I did not have the ball in there. I just took apart the old one and low and behold there it was way inside the opening in the regulator.

If your going to go through the bowl here is a great kit. That Ford part isn't worth the money. There is nothing to wear out in the FPR. Use the o ring from the kit above and a BB if you wish on reassembly.

Your bowl is a bit different from mine. Powerstrokeshop has a good illustration that shows the differences. Mine has another metal screen. Yours wont.

Speaking of powerstrokeshop...when did they change the make model breakdown for the OBS and superduty quick parts section?

I was just on there last week and they still had the 94-97 and 98-03 or whatever it was still on there. It sucks because you could look up just about anything and get a diagram for it but not now.
