P1293 code no start?? help

I installed a set of BD stage 1 in a 97.I can't get this thing to start.I did a buzz test and got a P1293 code it said high side open bank #1 right. I checked all fuses and plugs.I have no smoke when cranking.Any ideas??? Thanks,Scott

[/ QUOTE ]Fill up the HPOP resevoir with oil, & fill the filter canister with fuel, & crank it. Not too long intervals, I hear these need alot of cranking after the system has been empty. Not sure about the code, someone will know...On edit I looked into the 1293 code & it may be a short in the rt bank wiring. You may want to double check all the connections to the injectors....

It takes forever to start after injector installs, get the batts all charged up, fill the HPO res, remove IDM relay #2, then turn it over for 20 secs or more, thsi makes sure fuel is in the injectors before you start them or you can score the P&B assembly. BD ones are very $$$$ so you don't want to wreck them. Since you have already tried to start it, jsut plug the truck in so its warm, charge the batts and crank the hell out of it. The reason you do not have smoke is becasue you have not got enough oil pressure yet to fire them off, you need 550 psi to get the PCM to start up the IDM, keep crankign it over til it starts, 10 secs at a time will just wear out the batts and not start.
