Procedure for shifter tranny fill

I'm putting in some redline mtl tomorrow to hopefully help some lightly not terribly worn syncros. I've read a-lot on the mtl about adding the fluid through the shifter hole but can't find any direction on how to do it and don't wanna just tear into something uninformed. My truck has the centaurus package so it has the fancy wooden box between the buckets. Anybody set me right here?

Drain the tranny. Remove the 4 bezel screws on the shifter boot. Carefully pull both the inner (white) and out (black) boots and bezel up over the bolts that hold the shift level on. remove the bolts (10mm) and remove the shifter. Remove the 4 bolts that hold the remaining shift stub cover on. Pull out the shifter stub and be careful not to drop the 2 white bushings into the tranny (I'd remove those too). Pour in 4 quarts of MTL and button everything back up. Hopefully your boots are in good shape, otherwise you can stuff some fiberglass insulation up there to quite things a bit. Cheers!
