Rear Exhaust Hanger

my rear rubber exhaust hanger ripped in half the other day. after buying one i realized i cant get the pin out to slide the new one on. before i grind or cut it off just thought id ask if there was another way to get it off or what the best thing to do was. i know i could cut it off and fab a new one i just wanted to use the stock one if possible. thanks guys in advance

I just took a look at my '94. I assume your rubber hanger gizmo broke at the top. Looks like its riveted thru the frame. I'm guessing fabrication.

Yeah Thats What I Thought. I Just Wanted To Use The Oem Bracket Its Solid And No Rust. So Ill Cut It Off And Fab Something Up. Thanks For The Reply

I would just knock the pin out and use a bolt in its place.

Some PB blaster or other lube on the shaft and rubber should allow you to pull it out.

Let us know how you make out with it. I had hell a couple years back with the hanger coming off the other part of the rubber bushing. Finally wound up stuffing it back on and spot-welding a washer on the end.
