REPLACEMENT BATTERY CABLE ENDS

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN PURCHASE NEW BATTERY CABLE ENDS FOR THE POSITIVE CABLES? I AM GOING TO MAKE NEW DUAL BATTERY CABLES, NEED THE PASSENGER SIDE POSITIVE FOR SURE, IT SERVES AS THE POWER TO STARTER, AND GOES TO THE DRIVERS SIDE POSITIVE POST AS WELL. DOES ANYONE MAKE REPLACEMAENT POSITIVE CABLES ALREADY MADE THAT YOU CAN BUY BESIDES FORD?

Re: REPLACEMENT BATTERY CABLE ENDS

Yes you can get it at powerstrokeshop.com for a lot cheaper than the local ford dealers.

I looked this up about a month ago..I'll post a link here in just a minute.

Re: REPLACEMENT BATTERY CABLE ENDS

Here ya go: Positive Battery Cable

It lists it for $60.81 which is cheaper than the dealer by around $40 here at least.

Re: REPLACEMENT BATTERY CABLE ENDS

Thanks for the post casey. Looks like a good site for parts. Mine is getting on in years and miles (going to get an AARP card for it next month.) I replaced the Positive and both negative cables in early October and the Ford part cost me over 135 bucks.

Re: REPLACEMENT BATTERY CABLE ENDS

this is the one I just installed:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-DIES...VQQcmdZViewItem

It is great. 1 gauge cable and it is a good fit as well.

That is what my cable is from. The upgraded wire is usually 2 gauge. This one is 1 Gauge welding wire. Its very good quality wire. This wire is capable of flowing a lot of amps and has a very tough skin so welders can drag it around. It was a perfect match for my 160 amp Alternator. If I ever go to a 215 amp ALT this wire will still work.
