Serpentine belt. 95 - 7.3

Proper way to relieve the tension to replace the serpentine belt.

There is a tensioner on the passenger side about half walf down the motor...15mm socket if I recall, with a big wrench on the socket, move it toward the left like you are trying to loosen it.

Make sure that you check the idler pullies for noise. I just replaced the bearings last time I did this. Also use the old belt for a spare under the seat along with the spare CPS. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Currently also have 2012 Dodge 4X4 with a Cummins engine.

It is said if you sit by the river and watch the water flow by long enough, your enemies will pass by. This I believe to be true. It is also possible to watch your loved ones pass by as well.
