stalling after chip install

I recently installed my ts 6 pos chip into my 95 f250. The chip was marked tde1. Upon removal of my pcm I noticed my pcm was tee5. I cleaned the connections pretty throughly and used electrical tape to hold the chip to the pcm. Now my truck has some extremely weird shift patterns and it wants to stall driving down the road. Its almost like the converter stays locked all the time and won't unlock. Also the truck wouldn't stay running on the first crank after install. Could this be because the pcm codes don't match? Please help!

Get ahold of who ever burnt the chip for you, they are the ones that know what programing is on it.

AutoZone can't read the Ford's codes.

If I was you I would pull the chip and see what happens. It it returns to normal with no problems the problem is with the chip.

I pulled the chip and it was fine for a week until my ride home tonight I had the same problems again no chip this time. It stalled 19 times in a 10 miles trip so when I got home I started wiggling wires until I got it too stall again, when I touch the icp sensor connector it stalls every time. I unplugged it and took it for a ride and it seems to run a lot better than it did before and it idles way smoother, so I got back home and plugged the icp back in and it stalled out immediately. Now here's my problem, I started to smell buring wire really bad and a lot of smoke comming from my gpr and the wires were melting together. I just replaced my gpr on Saturday. Is there anyway these issues can be linked together? Also what would cause a gpr to melt like this? Sorry for such a long post just looking for help I'm kind of at a loss for words at this point.

Your ICP sensor is probably leaking oil into the plug. Its a common problem and can be fixed by replacing the sensor and cleaning the plug. Unplug it and look for oil residue. If you unplug it the PCM will take over and it will still run but throw a CEL. As far as your GPR i haven't heard of that yet! You say you replaced it? Make sure its wired correctly. its a pretty simple device really. Just think of it as a light switch. Its just passing 12v to the glow plugs at high current. The small wires are to activate it. I would read up on the GP system for more details, I doubt the 2 problems are connected. I would approach them one at at time for now. BTW the ICP can be had on Amazon for as low as 50 bucks. I just ordered one for my truck and it works great!
