Starter: OK What Gives???

7.3 PS in 1997 250 HD Full batteries, turn lights on, starter don't turn or dim lights...

Starter Right???
Ok my problem..How the hell do I get that bolt out on the top???
Can't get a wrench in there to pull torque on it to break it loose. Frame, exhaust man, block and the starter its self in the way.

Help...Lil Help Please...hahahaha

Been there done that can't get a grip on it to pull down to make loose. That bolt is snugged tight but good. Also tried heat...

If your using a 3/8ths drive socket and extension put a 1/2 to 3/8 adapter on it and use an impact gun with quick short bursts. It will come out.

hmm i beleive i got mine when i did the zf5 swap by taking out the crossmember so the engine sagged or maybe not but i know my harbor freight shorty wrenches reached all. and i was able to reinstall with shortys with zf5 and crossmember bolted in.
