Starting to get extended cranking times. CPS?

I forget if the CPS will cause extended cranking. my tach does move a little when cranking. Not the gpr or glow plugs. I thought maybe batteries but I charged them and the thing cranks like a mother chucker so I am thinking cps. Cranks for about 3-6 second before starting. used to be 1-3 second.

Maybe you have a HPOP /Ipr / ICP Issues. What is the HPOP pressure when you are cranking ?

Yes, a going bad CPS can cause longer cranking time. My truck was doing this and my CPS was going bad. Now the truck starts quickly. Keep us posted, Carl.

my last starter faded away slowly causing longer cranking times.....because of slower cranking rpm. check you batteries and gpr for fun too.

CPS can cause extended cranking times, Just had mine replaced at shop and didnt know it was replaced. Started it up the day i picked it up and she had more starting zing. seemed like it cut my starting time in half.

hey guys sorry it took so long to get back. I haven't even had a chance to mess with it lately so no update as of yet. I have been so stinking busy it's not funny. Anyway it's not gotten any worse yet so I'm going to get a cps and stick in the glove box and go from there.
