I'm looking for someone with a truck in my area . If there is someone close I'd like to hook up my scan tool to their truck to compare numbers to my truck. Hopefully it will educate us both and possibly help me diagnose my truck. I live in Crestline, California

Well Adam, I'm in Running Springs but my 6.4L has nothing in common with your 7.3L. So I'm afraid that a comparison would be a useless excercise.

Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing you are right with the 6.4 to 7.3 difference. Congratulations on your 08 truck , I'm sure she is a beauty.
Keep her maintained and she'll last
Unfortunately I bought my Truck used in 99 with 112,000 miles. The truck was only 2 years old with that much mileage, which leads me to believe that the proper maintenance was overlooked. I'm not sure what numbers are normal on my scan tool, which is why I'm looking for someones help. It would also be nice to have a little powerstroke group of friends on the mountain.

It still may be useful to hook up to your truck and record what the values are now(with a known good engine . That way when something goes bad it will be easier to see.
Let me know if you want to check it out. I'm off sundays and mondays.
