if you want to try something different without changing the tank.... my rear tank was leaking where the support was rubbing on it so i used this stuff called Seal-All from Napa ( it is in a yellow tube ) and then but a piece of rubber intertube i cut up between the tank and support and have not seen a drop since. i was leaving some pretty good size diesel slicks and i did not think this stuff would work but, it's been since just after easter now and is still not leaking. my leak was right on the bottom and had fuel dripping out as i was smearing some of this stuff on there so, like i said, i was really surprised it worked as it did. if you want though, i know that napa also sells the replacement tanks but they are only steel. i've seen ads for companies that sell oversize poly tanks but don't know as much about them.
Thanks, I might give that a shot until I have time to replace the tank. Thanks again

Did you know where the leak comes from?, mine leaked when I filled up, and turned out that the clamp of the intake hose was a little loose, I thightened it and no more leaks. I hope this helps you.
