Turbo Oil Leak Drainback

The oil is leaking when returning from the turbo. Seems to be where it goes into the pan. Also, is there a website I can locate a diagram? (Have 1999 F250 but should be the same as 1997.) Thx.

Re: Turbo Oil Leak Drainback

Welcome to the forum! There is a forum for the 99+ models, but your oil leak could be from a number of sources. There are o-rings on the pedestal where the pedestal mounts to the block and where the turbo mounts to the pedestal. There are also the High Pressure Oil rail end plugs at the back of each head. I would clean everything as good as you can and see if you can see where the leak originates. Cheers!

Re: Turbo Oil Leak Drainback

The oil from the turbo drains through the pedestal and back into the block and then goes to the pan. I'm not sure what you mean by where it goes into the pan? So you know there is also a '99 and up forum a little ways up from this one.

Re: Turbo Oil Leak Drainback

Your replies are helpful. If can't fix the problem, will try the 99+ forum. Will post when the problem is fixed.
