Water Pump question

So I just descovered that my water pump is wobbling slightly. It has about 125,000 km on it. It is not leaking and I will be replacing it this weekend, question is will it make it till then. Has anyone ever heard of the pump and clutch fan coming apart while driving? Should I be concerned. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Do you have a quarter to toss into the air? Or to quote dirty Harry "Do you feel lucky." It may last the rest of the life of the truck or it may go when you start it up in the morning. Now if it was my luck I would of changed it as soon as I looked at it and saw a problem. But then I am the type of guy that could loose a bet in a one horse race.

I agree with Bugman. Unless I had the money to replace the vehicle (or motor), I would not take a chance on melting it down.
