What should I do about injectors?
I have a 1994 F350 with 200k miles on it. I've had it for two years now and always used it as a second truck. I'd like to sell my duramax and am doing some maintenance on this truck to make sure it will be reliable for me.
Anyway, I was diagnosing a lopey idle and pulled off the valve covers. I was going to do GP's, UVCH, and o rings on injectors. I pull off the valve covers and see that I have a completely mismatched set of injectors in there. I have two that read alliant power (new?), two more that are white but look different, and four that are black but have different types of lettering on them and are not all a set. I know the guy I bought it from had a chip on it and am wondering if he didn't have a set of injectors too and took them out before he sold it.
I'd like some advice here. I want to take care of any problems there might be here but don't want to throw good money away. Should I send them all in to be checked? Should I just send them off to be rebuilt?
I am not interested in power. I bought a chip for economy and took it back off and sold it. I just want a reliable truck that runs well (maybe I shouldn't sell the duramax after all?).
