New member with questions.
I took my 1995 ford 250 7.3 turbo to a tranmission shop and
3500dollars later came out with a rebuilt tranny and a whistle or
a whine that changes tunes as I drive. Some times it starts right away and other times it starts miles later The tranny shop claim it has nothing to do with the transmission alltho I notice the tranny tempature does not register anymore on my insturment gauge, I have three. Boost/Exaust and Tranny.
The noise appears to stop and start if I tap the brakes at any speed. When it was really bad I took it out of gear/ shut of the engine and coasted to a stop. The whistle or whine lasted till I came to a full stop.
