why do the front wheels toe out when you back up on the 250's

i really only noticed this after i put my lift on, but ive been told its normal. whenever i back my truck up the front wheels will toe out really bad like this / \ but once i pull forward again they straighten right back up, what is the cause of this? thanks

It is intersting that some on here have that kind of problem. I back my truck up 150' every time that I park it in my diveway at home and have never noticed it.

i had the same problem on mine, even after changing all the bushings (spring and pivot), and the ball joints. never figured out what was causing it. i completely solved the problem with a dana 60

This is normal on the D50 TTB. It is not a problem. They will straighten back out when you go forward.

It's because as you back up with the slight toe in that is supposed to be there it tries to pull the tires outward and from this force is also pulls the suspension down causing the toe to change even more. It seems as though I recall it giving more toe in though but I haven't payed attention to it for awhile.
