1997 F350 Headlamp housing replacement/upgrade

The headlamp housings on my 1997 F-350 have become "cloudy." I've tried the polishing kits without success. I've found standard replacements for $77.00 to $99.00. I am wondering if there is an upgrade that would offer better performance over the stock configuration. Anyone have any experience upgrading these?

I just resurfaced my headlights with a kit made by 3M. The kit was $19 at Wal-Mart.My headlights look and work like new.One kit does both headlights. You just need a slow speed drill, the kit, masking tape, newspaper and about an hour of your time.

You can get replacements..factory style or all clear on ebay. Then if you want the best lighting that you can get a harness and Hellas 80/100w 4k kelvin bulbs. Hids are great but their isn't a housing designed for them.
