I was quoted 1100.00 for a 2wd fabtech lift on my truck about 4 months ago. Dont know if I can still get that or not but i'll email him and try.

Re: 2wd lift kit?

my brother is looking to do the same with his 95. he found a kit through 4wheel parts for somewhere 1100-1200 i think. my question is how big of a tire can be used with this lift? he is wanting to put 22.5 on it with 255/70/22.5s and they are approximately 36 inches tall, think they would work with little to no steering issues?

Re: 2wd lift kit?

to have no steering issues you need to get the new skyjacker extreem drop pitman arm to not have bad bump steer. As for the lift kits ya'll are talking about I think your being quoted for a gasser. I have not seen one for a diesel. I had to get my coil springs custom made from National Spring company in Ohio, I think. All the other sutff should work, brackets ect. Just make sure you weld it in the right place or the crossmember will crack.
