35/12.5/16.5 AT tires, BFG stopped making them, anyone else make them?

I was pricing them today and one dealer said he had to call BFG to get me a price and when he called me back he said they stopped making them. Does anyone know of any other tire company that makes them? I have pretty nice wheels and I'm sure they aren't worth much if there aren't tires for them (so I prefer to not have to get new wheels yet). So if anyone knows I appreciate it.

Have you tried calling BFG directly? They still list them on their web site. 1.877.788.8899 to reach BFG. I never trust dealers/distributers.

They are a great tire, but I am betting fewer and fewer 16.5" tires are being sold all the time.

It would not surprise me if they did. Part of business.

On a up side I pestered Dunlop for two years to make a specific size they discontinued for my motorcycle. The eventually began making it again. So anything is possible.

Man, don't scare me like that! I just called BFG. They have no plans to stop making that size. You need to get a different tire shop though! BFG, Parnelli Jones, and and Interco are about the only people I know that have this size. I doubt any of these are going to stop making it. While the 16.5" wheel is no popular in general, there are A LOT of them running around on modified lifted trucks. This post scared the crap out of me as I will be getting new 35" BFG's in the next few months!

yeah I was scared to, I even thought about buying 2 sets if I could find them anywhere. Well I'm much more comforted now!. lol. I found a great dealer in the area, tires, mounted, and balanced all together for 810$. Good deal I think!

I also checked into this...Was putting tires on my moms car for her over the weekend at Big O Tires...Asked the guy to look up 35x12.5x16.5 BFGs for me...says he had 3 sets of em and that they were expecting more from BFG soon...
