4:10 to 3:55 axle swap

I am swapping out my F250 axles that are 4:10's with F350's w/ 3:55's
what do I need to do to adjust the speedo?

2000 Crew Short F250 4x4 Lariat
White over Ebony
Limo Tint all the way around
F350 Blocks- 1 1/2" Shackle kit up Front
Eagle Alloys
265/75/16 Toyo Open Country M/T's
5" straight pipe

Not a thing. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/warmsmile.gif[/img] As long as you keep the same tire size it will be as accurate as it ever was.
That's because the speed sensor reads axle revolutions and not driveshaft revs like it used to when the speedo drive gear was in the tranny..

If you don't mind me asking... what did you have to pay for the swap? I have 4.10's and would like to swap them out for 3.55's or 3.73.

I have yet to get my rear axle- but then I have front and rear to sell afterwards

Well come on down! I've got 3.55's and I don't wantem any more. We can just swap out the rear axles right here and you can take the D50 home with ya to do at your leisure.

Well... I am headed to Phoenix for Thanksgiving. Humm... this could get interesting.. Do you have a place that can swap them for us? My truck is a 4x4 so we would have to do both axles right??
