4" front lift springs..... what to do about the rear... - Diesel Forum

Im going to be picking up a set of 4" lift springs in the very near future, and was wonder what to do to bring the rear up to make the truck level.

I was thinking, that i could just do add a leafs, but how much what i have to do? 2" 4"??? more? less???

any ideas?

Best thing to do would be to get lift springs for the rear also. You don't want to try and get 4 inches of lift out of an add a leaf. You could go with a slightly taller block and an add a leaf together. That would probably get you about 3 inches in the rear which should be enough. Running a tall block is not a good way to go though.

I would recommend a 5" Donahoe rear lift spring.
