5th wiring kit for 97 OBS ????

Does anyone know if they make a 5th wheel wiring harness that plugs in to our existing harness ? Or do I have to wire it in myself???

Re: 5th wiring kit for 97 OBS ????

I looked and looked for one years ago and couldn't find one. I tapped into the factory seven wire plug for my in-bed plug.

The only one of those that works on the old body style is the first one. All it does is plug into the factory trailer plug. It's more or less an extension cord.

Re: 5th wiring kit for 97 OBS ????

I got a the 7 pin harness from a junk yard and 7 ft of the cable at an RV store, and soldered it together so I can use both bumper and the Gn all plugged into the factory harness.
