7.3 or 6.0 intercooler?

How much harder is it to install the 6.0 intercooler over the 7.3. I intend to get stage 1's and a good chip this winter. I use the truck for pulling our 10K 5th wheel mostley? Thanks for the help.

Re: 7.3 or 6.0 intercooler?

I hear they are the same to install but the 6.0 is larger and flows more air. That is the one I will go with.

Re: 7.3 or 6.0 intercooler?

Thanks for the reply. Does the 6.0 liter intercooler have plastic ends or are some of them metal? Thanks. Is there a preference?

Re: 7.3 or 6.0 intercooler?

Yes they are plastic and they do split and break. I am suprised that there is not more talk here about that fact. Hardly ever had a problem with the 7.3 coolers.
