Power Strokes 1994-1997 Upgrades and AftermarketUpgrading or adding OEM or aftermarket equipment to your 1994-1997 Ford F-Series with Power Stroke engine.
Got my adrenaline hpop from ups this morning so I went right to installing it. Install went real well, probably like 2-3 hours. Had some trouble getting it started though but I called Bob and he talked me through, I had reused my IPR as it was not very old but my ipr o-rings must have been bad because they were leaking oil not allowing pressure to build up enough. Pulled the ipr back out and installed a new generic o-ring that was about the same size and then it fired right up. I find that it starts a little faster and accelerates easier/smoother. I'm hoping my mileage will improve some but haven't driven it enough yet get a good reading on that yet.
Sure makes me wish for one...I hope to be towing my trailer down to Florida in a few days and every bit of towing power helps.

When I ordered it, the website said it would be at least two weeks before it got sent out. I filled out the info late Friday night and Monday morning I had an email that the pump had been shipped and should see it by Thursday. I was surprised. Also, the price is going to go up on the pump by Sept. 1 so I wanted to get it ordered by then at least.
edit: nevermind, their web site says its going to go up to 589.
Looks like I'll be maxing out my credit card this weekend...again....

I got mine yesterday, now I just need to finish assembling the engine that it's going on. I have high hopes for this pump based on all the reviews I've read.

if you look on the dieselsite page, it says the only thing it won't help with it the code B injectors. it says it is designed especially for hydrid 530 injectors and large stage IIs. should be an 80 horse increase with the stage IIs and aftermarket programming.
Still lovin mine! Worth every penny. Truck starts faster and has better throttle response. I am taking it on a 1200 mile trip this weekend and look forward to mpg figures. My goal is to get to the 20+ neigborhood.
