Aic

For a 96 250, does a used AIC have to come off of any certain years. Only 94-97 PSD or anything with a 7.3 PSD up to an 03. Wreckers of ambulances should have one correct? thanks.

Any of the 7.3 AICs should work. You may need to fabricate your own bracket though. Cheers!

Assuming I find one in a junker:
Where is it - underneath the dash near the middle?
How big is it?
How to unwire/unhook it?
Do the stock PSD have a port or do they have to be wired in?

Under the dash about in the middle in plain sight. It'll be (i'm just guessing) about 4" x 6". Just unplug the connector on the harness and plug it in to the existing one on your truck (they all have it). Cheers!
