Will the Airdog fuel systems work on OBS trucks? Do we need to add anything else to them?We need a regulated return right?

At an educated guess level NO. May call them and see what they are rated for, but the Cummins fuel systems have a high pressure pump to, so the fuel systems for them only supply the high pressure pump, so they generally run less than 20 psi fuel pressure. Our engines on the other hand rely on the fuel pump to get the injectors filled in the small time they have to be filled, so our systems run atleast 50 lbs generally speaking.

Some of the fass systems are capable of 50 psi, but they also flow 200 gph which is WAY more than your engine needs, so the regulator will just let most of it go back to tank, the constant pumping will heat the fuel to an extent, you want a fuel system that is capable of your needs, but not too excessive. They are more expensive, but there are systems taylor made for your truck out there, try Beans Diesel Performance. www.beansdieselperformance.com

If your lookin for a great fuel system I would suggest you call up Diesel Innovations. David has put together a great Fass/DI fuel system that works really well! I love mine

No worries about the Fass pump heating the fuel up as it is a regulated return which allows coinstant flow keeping the fuel at normal operating temps. Our trucks dont dead head like the cummins motors do which is what usually causes the fuel to get a little hot. Best of luck!

FWIW, and my opinion only, but the AirDog is a better unit than the FASS. You would need to remove your stock pump, remove the stock fuel bowl, plate the top passage that the pump rod went through, fab lines into the rails, stick a regulator on the return side, and enjoy.
