Re: any advice on using nitrous??

You can use nitrous. Diesels love it. Most guys run a two stage system. You can use a big shot of nitrous to it without hurthing anything. With diesels the worse thing you can do is put the fire out and thus stall the engine. So then you just crank it back up.

Re: any advice on using nitrous??

Also, you can check out TS Performance's Bye Now nitrous setup to get some ideas. Do you have a one or two stage nitrous setup?

Re: any advice on using nitrous??

its only a one stage...but I have 2 solenoids and 2 sprayers one for gas and one for nitrous, I thought I could try making them both work? I've also been thinking about propane since I hear it lasts alot longer than nitrous.

Re: any advice on using nitrous??

If your planning on running drugs, you need to ditch the programer and get a chip tuned for them. Otherwise, it will be like that old Nugent song "Boom, Boom, out go the lights"

Re: any advice on using nitrous??

The nitrous will be the death of the turbo, the propane would do an imitation of Bill Gates and install windows in your block.

Install a wood block on the floorboard underneath the go pedal, this will limit boost, and also get you better fuel mileage.

Put the tuner on the lowest setting, this will help.
