I was wondering if anyone here had HIDs on their truck. Ive heard before that they can melt the headlight housing. I have the diamond cut aftermarket ones on my truck now. Also what bulbs do you have in yours?

I run HID but not in the stock headlight location. Mine are auxilary on my Moose bar. They are dicast aluminum housings 8.5" with the igniter and ballist (sp) internal (inside the light housings). Draw is under 4 amps and the wattage is 35. They run very cool (as I think HID do in general) compared to other light types. I have some pix in my sig under lights....
