Anyone used DP from Moto Blue ?

Has anyone used a down pipe from Moto Blue that has the pyro bung already in it? RPM outlet has one for $95 and a 3 gauge set (Stewart Warner guages) with pillar mount for $230. Is this a good deal?? I know money wise it's a great price..... but what about the quality??

Re: Anyone used DP from Moto Blue ?

I put one in my brother in laws truck. I remember it being a 2 piece DP. It's pretty good quality and was easy to install.

RPMoutlet is a bunch of crooks. I would stay away from there. If you are curious about them, go to http://www.svtperformance.com and do a search

Re: Anyone used DP from Moto Blue ?

I wouldn't bother with Stewart Warner gauges, like most every thing else thses days they aren't what they used to be. The bung in the downpipe is useless, you want your pyro probe in the manifold, post turbo temps not really useful.

TYMAR has downpipes on e-bay right now about $160.

I think Moto Blue is the same as Diamond Eye, but not 100% sure. But why not buy it from a site sponsor with a 100% record than a vendor who has had a number of problems posted? There are many good places to get a good price and GAURANTEED good service right on this board.

Re: Anyone used DP from Moto Blue ?

I put a moto blue dp on my truck, and am satisfied with it. The plug in the pyro bung vibrated out on me, so just check it for tightness when you install the dp and you should be ok. I am considering buying one of ther full exhaust systems. I went with the auto meter gauge kit from RPM outlet.
