Auto Hubs or Warn Manual

I am doing a Dana 60 swap, and trying to decide on the hubs. Do I swap over my auto hubs (from the TTB 50) or replace the factory manual ones with the Warn premium? I like the idea of not having to get out to lock the hubs if and when I need them (lazy?),but, are they not strong enough for normal usage? I dont abuse the 4x4 system (have heard of guys having pulling contests- not me), but this far along with the axle rebuild, want to do it right. What thoughts or suggestions do yall have?

My truck came new with the auto hubs. I use 4 wheel drive when it snows and the couple times a year I have to back my truck up through a ditch to park my boat. That said, I got my truck stuck in my back yard unloading grass clippings. Ruined the hubs in 4WD on level wet land. This is when it was fairly new too, 3-4 years old. I put the Warn manual hubs in and haven't had a problem since.

Manual hubs are typically cheaper cost wise and MUCH more reliable.

My experiences working in a 4x4 specialty shop.

Check out the "manual hub' problem in the 94-97 forum I just posted this morning, I put the links in the wrong place, but they apply to here.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I should go ahead and bite the last bullet of this axle rebuild and put some Warns on. Why not, it's only money, right?

When we get home from camping I have to back up a slight hill to put our trailer away. With manual hubs it's great to be able to shift the transfer case into 4LO on dry pavement and not have to work the truck so hard. Just the slightest push on the throttle and it moves our 15,000 lbs trailer with no effort at all. Since the front wheels won't engage with the hubs unlocked I can turn the wheels and maneuver no problem.
