I have a 1996 F250 7.3 It has a 6-position TS Performance chip, gauges, and a cold air intake. I just can't make my mind up on what injector to buy.I'm looking for a lot of smoke!! Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions?

the BabySwamp and the stage 1 injectors utilize stock nozzles, thier will be smoke under lugging conditions and at throttle input however both sets should clear up pretty good with the stock charger under boost.
If you are wanting the extra power (Fuel which also equals smoke) in the bottom end then you will need to step up to the next size which would be the 175/173's or the stage 2's which utilize a bigger nozzle that flows more fuel at less throttle input. You are less likly to burn this amount of fuel at full boost so you will prolly still see some haze even under full out hauling rear conditions.
Hope this helps Travis

[/ QUOTE ]Not true, if you have oil. With proper atomization and stage2's you will clear to a grey haze(as long as your nozzles are the correct spray angle) !

On my truck w/ stock oil and turbo, stage 2's clear upto a slight haze. So i guess that leaves the nozzles for discussion. IMO look at dyno sheets and time slips of both stage 2's and 175's then make your decision (both are in my sig below for bdp stage 2s)

With more oil pressure you will be injecting more fuel. Seems I heard something about your truck smokeing more since the big oil due to the added fuel.
For what it's worth, I love my Baby Swamps! With the right tuning, you can have the best of both worlds! Keep your foot out of them and you'll be fine! Put your foot down, and watch it smoke!
Just my .02 worth!

If I drive normal with my 175's they don't smoke. But if you feel the need they can stop traffic. And with the BB Garrett they clean up to a light gray fog on the top, but they will never clean up all the way.
I am happy with my stage ones. I like the fact that my foot controls the smoke, only there if I get after it. I also like that they drive like stock until I need it. Under "normal driving" you don't notice any difference, but get it and the smoke is flowing and you are
It does clear up pretty quick with the stock turbo.

Swamps FM 250's will give you all the smoke you want. I love the thick black smoke but in my opinion it has its time and place i.e. tailgaters, drag strip, messing with your dodge driving friends. I can't stand any smoke while I'm just driving on the Hwy or in town. A lot of the smoke can be brought on with a good program and then "turned off" by switching to a mild program.

I run the 175/173's as well, Doesnt smoke under light throttle to bad but when the peddle hits the floor(most of the time) smoke sceen. The power is great, Dynoed at 266hp-512tq. Now this is with a mild chip, stock turbo and fuel system with no inercooler.
