Think about going with a 2 1/2 lift instead a 4 inch now for towing reasons
I have already added a add-a-leaf in the rear and with the kit it comes with another add-a-leaf Is it ok to stack them on top of each other?
Thanks
Tanner

i would consult a reputable local spring shop im sure they will give yuou all the pros and cons of doing such things
to tell you the truth and I dont know how it is possible- but after installing the first add-a-leafs it seemed to ride better than stock
Maybe my springs are shot?

when i bought my new 01 i didnt like how soft the stock suspension was so i had my local spring shop add a spring in both front and rear.....they were spec'ed for a f450 and it not only lifted the truck nicely without a lift kit but it made the truck handle like a damn sports car.......little rougher ride but its a truck not a caddy
does your original add-a-leaf go over or under the rear springs.
most lifts the leafs go under the rear springs, so if your first set is over the springs, like the factory over loads, then you should be alright.

I'd run em, provided they are shorter then the ones you already put in, so that you still have the shortest leaf on bottom. we have stacked many leaf springs in mud trucks to gain lift because blocks are not strong enough. I dont see why this wouldnt be different.

I put two add-a-leafs on the front on my 92 F350 and it beats the crap out on me. The front end won't even move an inch when I jump up and down on the front bumper. Hopefully soon I will be getting rid of one add a leaf and putting a reverse shackle on
