Banks intercooler pipe kit

I want to install a intercooler on my truck before i head out west and was wondering were i can buy the banks pipe kit for the obs trucks and about how much it would be. I am also keeping my eyes open for a complete kit with a intercooler that someone would be selling for a reasonable price so if there is any of those let me know to. Thanks!!!!!!!

Check E bay out, I seen the kit offered on there for $1500-1700 I think. For our year of trucks.

You can find the complete piping kit for $5-600 if I remember right. There is a guy on e-bay I have seen piping for $190 and it looks like decent quality, but it uses the superduty spyder which I don't personally like. Watch e-bay for a 6.0 IC or superduty 7.3 ic. You can do it real cheap comlete for under $400 if you are willing to be patient or about $700 if you want it now.

I agree, a 7.3 ic (99-02) can be had for 100 bucks or so, the 6.0 ic may need some fab and weld work however.

I dunno, wished i had found them before i pieced together my ic or i could tell ya. On the other hand, those pipes raise the bar on the spyder and the intake tube...

Doesn't it make you wonder why they removed the factory ones ? I wonder how much temp drop there is on the 7.3's vs 6.0 vs Banks intercooler. The temperature drop is the really what I am looking for. Anyone have any Data to support one VS the other ?

Ive Ordered a Front Mount Intercooler For A Car Off Ebay And the pipe kits work pretty good! i would just recommend getting some heavy duty clamps to replace the ones it comes with they are pretty crappy and tend to break...

Gotta watch it with the aluminum pipes as they had problems with wiring looms and such wearing holes in them on the early SD's. Cheers!

Banks claims 150-200 degree drops accross their core. I wonder what the factory ones will cut out.
