Banks Pipes Question

I bought a set of banks pipes and spider to use on a 6.0 intercooler I am installing and wanted to know for those who have bought these pipes what is the threaded bung on the hot side short pipe attached to the turbo. Is it for a boost gauge? Thanks.

Re: Banks Pipes Question

Thanks AlaskaRedneck....I just bought a boost gauge ...is that the best place to plumb it in? I guess it would read lower by plumbing it in the map sensor line.
Thanks

Re: Banks Pipes Question

It reads more evenly by putting it in the hot side of the IC pipe, than the map sensor. Mine had the jitters when I put it before the map sensor, but now its pretty even.
