Bigger injector options

Alright, as you can see I've got Stage I's now. Real happy with the performance of my set-up now but I'm going to want more in the very near future My original plan was Stage II's from Bean, I'm a little concerned about the smoke but big oil and turbo should help that. I've also seen mention of stroked A codes?? What's the story there, benefits, drawbacks? And then the big ol' B codes, but they are also big $$$ as far as I can tell. The advantage of Stage II's for me is I've just got to pay for the nozzles and they have shown good power, I would hope for somewhere between 400/900 and 425/1000 with that set-up Hybrids don't make quite as much sense with the big oil, plus that seems to be the line where a people start breaking things. This is still my daily driver so I've got to be slightly cautious

If I had to sum up what I am looking for - most power I can get with big oil and BB turbo that has a low probability of breaking something I am very very seriously considering getting a DD clutch over the winter and trying to get into some more sled pulls next summer. I'm moving from NJ to the Mooresville, NC area in December so that means 2 important things - no more frickin' stop and go traffic and closer proximity to many pulls (so the DD clutch makes much more sense)

Any thoughts or helpful comments greatly appreciated

Steve

P.S. JR I told you this wouldn't last long It's all your fault

Some 200cc acodes would do very well in that setup.

what's the story on these, just stroked even further than the Stage I's? I thought ~180 was as far as you could go? What nozzles? Is anyone else running this set-up, what kind of results? You can PM me if that's better.

Re: Bigger injector options

I have doen one other set of 200's for a guy in MI with a SD, he has h2 and stealth and it runs mid 13's, 13.4 I think. He is running with no studs also and that was on a stock SD fuel pump.

I think no matter what you need to do studs if you want anymore then II's.

We can stroke Acodes out to 230cc with no ill effects, they run great ask tbuzz. We would use our standard stage 2 nozzle on them.

sent you a PM Bean

Was hoping to avoid studs but if that's what it takes then so be it Although to me, studs in these engines always meant you were an ass hair away from tossing a rod due to the power level, guess that's not totally right??

You had 2's before right? How do these compare driveability and smoke wise??? I won't be doing this for another month or so until I am done moving so maybe keep me updated once you get a better feel

Thanks a bunch,
Seve

Re: Bigger injector options

I had II.5s before. Driveability is the same. Smoke is a bit less as well. But I had Tony give me some programs that arent to wild,no head studs. But overall i like them better than my II.5s But the real test will come when i can get some dyno #s. Tony said there was still more in em I just need to clear the smoke i have now.
