Power Strokes 1994-1997 Upgrades and AftermarketUpgrading or adding OEM or aftermarket equipment to your 1994-1997 Ford F-Series with Power Stroke engine.
these are two things i have never seen for an OBS 7.3...both of which i would like. Does anyone have any idea where i can get either of these. The BOV has to be adjustable, i just want it to keep the boost down to a safe level after i install my injectors and turbo. The turbo timer i want just because the way i drive sometimes and i want to be able to let the turbo cool down.

What the 'ell is a "Turbo Timer",..??..?? </div></div>
a turbo timer is an electronic timer that you wire to the ign circuit to keep the engine running after you remove the key, to allow the oil to cool down to prevent oil coking in the turbo.
they are usually a timed unit or can monitor egt temp to determine how long to keep the engine running.
that way you do not have to wait in the vehicle for it to cool down before you shut it off.
This is the timer I have It works great and is adjustable. I have the ERT+V model and it works great.

you can look up, hks turbo timer or greddy turbo timer and they run about 100-150 bucks, a lot of turbo mustang, import guys use them including myself when i had a few of my other cars they work great and i feel almost a neccesity if you run your vehicle hard at all (pulling, racing etc)
turbo temp timer This is what I installed, I really like it since I'm a Vol. Firefighter. No need to adjust time. Most of the time my truck usually shuts off in less than 30 seconds, but after responding to a call it could run for 5 min or more.
