C/C light, squeak, other questions!

how can i install a little LED light that will come on steady when i engage my cruise. i dont need this, just thought it would be cool.

is there a grease sert anywhere on my steering wheel? it has a funny squeak sometimes when i turn. i think i might just squirt some WD-40 into it.

Re: C/C light, squeak, other questions!

you can get an LED and wire it into the cruise...you just have to find a basic LED and then look at a wiring diagram to find a wire that's hot when it is engaged. as far as the grease zerk, not that i know of. i don't think there is such a thing (unless it is on the steering shaft...be careful with WD-40, as it will drip and be all over your carpet...

Re: C/C light, squeak, other questions!

I know that throwing an LED in for brakelights will mess up your cruise due to a resistance issue, so i don't know how that would work on your cruise control switches? i'd be careful about that...may have to rip out all of your wiring if it messes up
