chip

i am looking for a good chip that is good with performance and towing. i do excavation and i us my truck to pull a 11,500 pound excavator. the truck pulls the machine fine now but it could pull better. i am also worried about the trans. the converter locks and unlockes constantly on hills. any help would be great.
ps. does anyone else have a problem with there trans not shifting in lo range unless the tach is around 3000?

Re: chip

Aaron, a good multi-pos. chip is the best mod you can do for your truck. The best chip is a well debated question, start by contacting beansdieselperformance.com - you may look for a twildman chip by doing a search on this site also. More power will keep your trans. from hunting, also a custom chip can adjust your shift points.

Re: chip

I only have one suggestion and that is Tony Wildman.

www.totaldieselperformance.com

Tony is "The Man" when it comes to chips for our trucks.

Later,
