Dipricol gauges

Hey guys we just put a set of Dipricol gauges in our Dodge at work, but other than that I have no experience on their qaulity. I'm in the market for a set of gauges and a couple of my friends just got a TST dealership(Dodge guys), and they sell Dipricols, so I can get them at a reasonable price.
Hate to say it, but one of them has a 05 Dodge with the hpcr engine. All he has is stacks and a "Powermax CR" box and the truck will freakin move. In third or fourth it will light the tires up at will, no crap. I hated the new Cummins just because of the way the sound until I rode in that truck WOW

Re: Dipricol gauges

I have Dipricol guages, and although they seem to to work fine and I believe that they are accurate, the illumination is very poor (inconsistent). The three guages that I have (pyro, boost and trans. temp) all illuminate at different brightnesses and dim at different brightnesses as well. It may not be a big deal for some people, but Alaska doesn't have much daylight in the winter so guage illumination is pretty important to me. In short, I would NOT buy them again. Pete

Re: Dipricol gauges

I like the looks but the trans temp is a 90 sweep which is poor for a gauge these days.

Re: Dipricol gauges

Well I bought em anyway.

I didn't get em from blackcloud, but they have the gauges I bought.

Dipricols on BlackCloud

They are at the bottom part of the page. Bought the white face pyro and 0-60 boost gauge. Didn't really want to go with a pillar pod, but with it cause they are readily available.

Re: Dipricol gauges

I got the white face gauges, pyro and boost. The pictures beside them are what they look like with night light. They did the blue green to match the new Dodge dash lights, but I think it'll look great in my truck.

They are Dipricol's newest gauges, I think they just cam out with the white face ones.

Re: Dipricol gauges

Those optilux guages will light up nicely, the led lighting is good. Does the blonde at the bottom of the page do installs? Can you say ROADTRIP!!!!!!!

Re: Dipricol gauges

Ya, wish she came with every purchase...err no, just mine

My gauges should be here tuesday, I was planning on putting my pyro probe in the drivers side manifold, only thing I don't like is it doesn't read the other bank, could a guy put his probe in the uppipe collector and it still be pretty close to actual temps? The biggest thing would just be getting it in there. Probably would have to take it off I bet.

Re: Dipricol gauges

You are better off in the manifold...temp reading will be more accurate/useful with the probe located there rather than the uppipe...
