I put in Explorer buckets and built my own brackets. When I went looking for a good center seat/console I settled on a dodge center section due to how easy it was to build a bracket. I didn't look really close at the dodge buckets but if I remember correctly it shouldn't be too difficult to install them. The Explorer buckets were a pain but I had them and they are power.

As old Hot Rodders will say "anything can be put into anything". I would be concerned that with Dodge seats my truck it would feel like I was riding in a Dodge. When that happens you have that need to watch for parts falling off, etc.
What about some Linclon full power leather seat to avoid that Dodge feeling.
Enough Dodge bashing, when I did my seat mod I removed the seat from the base. It appears that a simple seat base could be fabed up on top of the existing or replacing the existing base. This base is like the one the Baja guys use to mount seats in their machines. A rectangular frame with ladder cross-bracing made of 1" or 11/4" sq tube. Make up brackets that look like the mounting poins on the original base and munt using the original hard points. All that is remaining to to mount tabs to attach the new seats to the base as needed.
Good Luck

i have dodge van seats in my truck. very nice seats. i built the brackets my self. to get the hight right i used the brakets from my bench seat and put angle iron between them, then mouted the sliders off the dodge seats into the metal between the ford brakets.

I put conversion van seats from a Dodge in my truck if that counts? I built a simple frame from 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 tubing and angle iron. The nice thing about conversion van seats is that they use a flat 4 bolt mount that I think is universal to aftermarket seats. When I wear them out I can get another set at the junkyard. $75 for the pair!
