Down Pipe Question

Just wondering...I've seen that some down pipes come as one piece and others in two pieces. Is there a difference in performance, one vs. two pieces?

Re: Down Pipe Question

I don't think I ever seen a one piece DP for our style trucks. It would be bear to get in if at all possible. The two piece gives you little adjustment options here and there. When you take out the pancake pipe you will see. I think you can get pipes in 3",3to31/2" and 3 to 4" DP's. that would be your first and most important mod to a stock PSD getting the exaust gasses out faster and cooler.

Re: Down Pipe Question

94Smoker,

clem is right, unless have pipes that connect up with the stock converter, ones that eliminate the converter for off road use, and complete systems in aluminized and 409 stainless etc etc.
