Downpipe and exhaust

I own a 95 PS F350 Crew Cab. Who has the best and/or easiest to install 3.5 inch to 4 inch down pipe and are there any advantages between a four and 5 inch exhaust system? Is there a d-pipe that tapers from 3.5 inches to 5 inches? I plan on doing a number of upgrades: gauges first, intake, d-pipe, exhaust, TW chip and programming, injectors, BB turbo, big oil, etc. First phase are the gauges, intake, d-pipe and exhaust. I would like to end up in the 350-400 hp range. Thanks for your help........................

Looks like you are headed in the right direction, Dale's 3.5-4 downpipe is hard to beat. Lots of good advice too. My favorite exhaust is a 4" in the stock location. Put the specs of your truck in your sig, we will be better able to answer your questions.

Re: Downpipe and exhaust

95DuallyStroker,

Take a look at the MBRP systems they are available in aluminized and stainless and the down pipe expands to 4.0 inches at 21-22 inches off the turbo. A 4.0 system will support up to 500RWHP, if you want 5 inch for looks go for it but it is not necessary for flow till you get to the 500 HP level. Call us if you have any questions etc.
