DP and Wildman

Hey all,

I wanted to let you guys know that I have a DP chip in the mail so I can do some testing. I have a Wildman chip now, and I am going to compare the pro's and con's of each tuner. I am not doing this to persuade anyone either way, but I won't to know how they compare. I will also be doing some dyno runs with each chip and see how they compare. If you would like to me test something then let me know so I can do it. I hope to write a good tech article for the comparison's. Thanks

Reuben

Ya I'm hoping to get some solid data from my testing of the two chips. I will dyno the truck, and tow quite a bit so I should have a good time nonetheless.

Depending on how long ago or where you bought the TW chip from you might consider getting it updated.

ok i've heard that on my stock truck with a dp all the settings over 100 hp the truck will bog down or something like that. is this true. what else will it do? if on 140hp will it smoke like they say it will but be a turd at the same time? and will the tony wildman do the same thing? i just want to do what will be the best.

I just wanted to let everybody know that the tunes I have from Wildman are about 2 years old, and they need to get updated. So for the testing to be valid, I will get some of Wildman updated tunes to make it fair.

Sorry to bump an older thread, but was this comparison ever completed?

I would be interested to hear your thoughts. The consensus seems to be TW for OBS trucks and DP for NBS trucks, but the more opinions the better.
