Drivers side block drain plug can't get it out.

Ok I got the Evans coolant. I got all new hoses. I got a coolant filter kit. I got the radiator drained.

I got the starter plulled out and the passenger side plug out. Used a 3/8" air rachet the plug was real tight but it came out. It was a 9/16" bolt head plug not a 1/4 square drive. Boy does it ever gush out in a big hurry. There was a orange type sealer on the threads. I used a brush to clean them. Then teflon tape when I started putting everything back together.

Now the fun began. I cannot get the BLANKETY BLANKETY BLANK drivers side 1/4" square drive to move. Sprayed PB blaster let it soak for a couple of hours. Used BFH and rachet no luck. Beat on end of extension like driving a nail. No luck. Got out the 3/8 air shifting from lefty to righty and thought I saw a little movement. I was simply rounding out the 1/4" drive.

Now the question is what next. I will go to F**D tomorrow and buy a new plug because I know this one is going to be messed up.

I have two choices.
#1 is just put everyting back together and go to a wrench to have the plug pulled and then do everything again. (Boy I Love this practice stuff do it once then do it again).

Choice #2 is let you guys help.
I wanted to get all of this done before my trip across the Mohave from KC to San Diego.
Thanks
Sorry for the long post but this has me Pi**ed off.
