Dyno results!

Well theyre not as high as we hoped to see, but they were good none the less. One run was 407.9 / 857 tq and the other run was 419.5 and 803 tq. Hp curve is muuuch flater than with stock turbo and intakes! Had trouble spooling the h2, so hopefully next month i can get back to the track and see if any difference can be made there. A pic of the dyno sheet can be found on my pics page under dyno results and pics

Re: Dyno results!

419 is not bad at all. Does it fall at all on the top end? I guess I could just go look at your Dyno graphs !

Re: Dyno results!

Sounds like I got something to look forward to , how much boost where you hitting on the dyno? EGT's?
You trip...if your mpg was towing at that speed thats dam good.

So you happy with the change? does it spool up as good and clear the smoke as fast or better?

Re: Dyno results!

I think the results are

Look at the hp on the dyno sheet it hit 400 at about 2600rpm and didnt come back down to 400 till 3600, thats a Table top. I dont think his peak #'s are much more due to he was clearing the smoke with the stocker but his curve is WAY better then the everest he had before.

Re: Dyno results!

so since putting the h2e setup on your hp and tourque went down from the stock turbo? that doesnt make any sense. why did it have trouble spooling? I thought the stage II's and the h2e were a good match. or was it the dyno rollers not being heavy enough that some people talk about?

I can gaurantee his truck is faster with the h2e though. Powerstrokes, dynos and big turbos just don't mix if you don't have a load.

There just isn't enough load to get the motors into the upper fueling tables. Jody Tipton witnessed this working with Dockboys' truck. His pulse width would drop off and ICP would never get over 2500 on the dyno. I think his boost was something like 36psi on the dyno, while on the street it was over 50 yet Greg mentioned to Jody his truck ran much better with the H2E.

Even going from a stock turbo with stock injectors to a h2e is a pretty big increase in SOTP power on the street. You just can't see it on the dyno.

Re: Dyno results!

The truck feels much stronger on the street. On the dyno 35 psi max, and on the street in my tow burn i can get over 35 psi. I am pretty happy with my results, cant wait til someone dynos with stage 2's, oil and posts there results.

Heres a truck with DPS hugh jazz single shot hybrids, full fuel system and hybrid s300 turbo poke here . This was on the same dyno as the one i dynod on. As you can see he didnt get much more hp outta waaay more fuel.
