dynoed today, a couple questions

So I went and dynoed today OD off i got 362hp/650tq OD on i got 349hp/723 tq. Those are corrected numbers only about 3-5% added since the weather was about perfect for dynoing. Im pretty happy, but at the same time a little dissapointed, b4 the hpop, idm and tranny mods I was at 340hp/625tq OD off so the idm and hpop only got me 20h and 20t roughly.
Id like to hit 400rwhp with stage 1s. So heres my questions, I believe Beans stage 1s use stock nozzles (?) if so is this a possible goal?
What would add more power dual hpops or Beans D66.
Is there a way to use dual hpops without doing a full blown elect. fuel system?
Thanks
Dan

Re: dynoed today, a couple questions

I'm not sure on the first few questions, but I know the BTS HPOP setup does not require a electric fuel system. On the OBS trucks they add a SD front oil reservoir and SD fuel filter housing in place of the stock setup.
There was someone, I don't remember who, that did the Swamps Gen3 HPO and removed the passenger side fuel bowl bolt to allow it to move just enough to clear the pump. I think the mount was 1/2" off when all was said & done.

Re: dynoed today, a couple questions

Those look like excellent numbers for those injectors. Are you sure the correction factor was that low? If you can post up your sheet that would be great. I do not believe that the SD fuel bowl is compatible with the stock mechanical pump. You can use a SD fuel bowl but you will need a SD electric fuel pump or equivalent to go with it. Whose programming are you using that looks like it is doing nicely.

Re: dynoed today, a couple questions

what is the change in torque from D to OD from? I realize there is a gear ratio difference changing the toque to the wheels, but I though the dyno would compensate for the ratio differences???

Sorry for the newb question. I've only heard of people running dynos in direct drive.

I've never dyno'd, but I would guess it's because of lower rpm in OD.

Re: dynoed today, a couple questions

It was good to see you at the dyno event Dan, I'd say your at about as much h.p. as you are going to get with those injectors. You'll probably have to step up to some II's to get 400+. Steve did 427 with the same mods as you but with Beans II's.

Re: dynoed today, a couple questions

Hey guys thanks for the comments, Tom Im still working on getting over to my friends house to use his scanner once thats up Ill post dyno sheets, and try to detail the mods the best I remember, Im getting old + diesel fumes . I guess they have a little weather station programmed in the dyno program they tested this by running trucks early in the day at about 5% correction and then in the afternoon at about 15% correction, result numbers were within about a nats @ss, the morning I went was perfect the dyno op said, not too cold not too hot, humidity was a up just a little for here (in the desert), he got to rambling a little about it, kind of over my head but it seemed to make sense.
The only thing I know about D and OD on the dyno is that in OD off I can go up to 75 mph which on the road I would never do, and OD on I was going about 100mph or better which Ive been known to do that being said I dunno why but the torque numbers were substantially (thats spelled wrong I think) higher and hp was a little lower in OD on.
Hey Justin it was good seein you too(even though your with the DOD** darkside ), I wish Id got there sooner to see you run, that Holset is big. Sunday a RX7 with a big (I mean big) garret came in and did like 375 hp, it was cool and emabarassing at the same time, oh well his tq was low and I could run over him effortlessly
So turbo or hpops?
As far as the programming Beans!
