Edge Evolution problem solved

From my earlier post, I got an Edge Evolution programmer that didn't work in the truck. Edge UPS me a replacement with the updated programming. Wow - a big difference in the menus and the overall function of the unit.

Needless to say it works flawlessly now!

Couple of notes, maybe others with an EVO can give their opinion.

- With my stock injectors, the Tow Safe (level 1) seems to be the best overall program with regaurds to power and tranny shifting.

- I did not care for the Extreme (level 3) as it was too much power with little throttle input and tranny shifted late and harsh.

- Did not get a chance to try the Race (level 2) yet, although hoping it is a compromise between 1 and 2.

I am thinking that the Tow safe (level 1) would yield the best economy and will probably be the setting I leave it at when the wife commutes in the truck during the week.

Thoughts? Opinions?

I'd say you'd probably get your best economy in the tow program I never even used tow when I had the Evo I liked the Extreme. The guy I sold it to loves the tow program and said it improved his economy. Glad to hear your up and running again!
