EGT & tranny gauge probe locations.

Just received my A-pillar triple gauge mount and gauges!! Just wondering what the general consensus is on the best location for the tranny temp probe. I'm assuming it has to go into the pan but is there a "better than others" location for it? Also same question goes for the EGT probe, I would like to go pre-turbo but there isn't really alot of room in there. Any suggestions would be great.Thanks.

I put my trans temp right into the test port on the drivers side of the transmission, really simple no drilling or tapping. As for the EGT I pulled the passenger side inner fender and drilled & tapped the exhaust manifold right where it bends to the up pipe. Gotta love those "A" pillar gauges

If I can find the links I saved with the pictures from different posts I will post another message with it.
