Finally exhaust!

Just got to change my signiture! New Tymar exhaust with hypermax down pipe installed. Sounds great, and it looks like the EGT's are a bit lower as well. Dog whistle is much louder now, and it looks like the dog also ate my kitty! Big thanks to Dale at Tymar - great products and customer service. I'll be back for more soon. Re: Finally exhaust!

That is my project for tomorrow. How long did it take you to install and were there any problems I need to look for?

Re: Finally exhaust!

I finally broke down and had it installed. I had rotator cuff surgery in Jan., and am still going thru therapy for it. I got tired of waiting to heal and paid a local shop (a bunch) to do it. They did a good job and I am happy with the result. The worst part from what I have read is removing the downpipe, and folding the seam on the firewall. I was mentally ready to go, but a one armed exhaust mechanic aint good for much. I can't offer any advice, but a search here will turn up much good info. Dale at Tymar is also an excellant source, but give him a couple of days to respond. He's a busy guy!

Re: Finally exhaust!

I already bought it and am going to install it tomorrow. Have been working on the truck all week long. Installed tranny cooler on Monday, gauges and pillar took Tuesday and Wednesday, chip on Thursday, and took today off. Can't wait for the exhaust to see how it sounds and feels. Re: Finally exhaust!

I,m already registerd as busbreath there too. Not much activity on the 94-97 forum though. I do look in from time to time. This site can usually answer my questions (sometimes before I even know I have questions)
