Re: front cover ?

your 96 will take any HPOP the 95 jsut had a drain back issue that's all, re&re ing the front cover requires an engine pull.

Re: front cover ?

I ordered mine from Powerstrokeshop.com they had the best price I could find on one. I got the front cover plus all the gaskets, seals, etc. to do the install for less then I could buy just the front cover anywhere else.

Re: front cover ?

KRP do you happen too know what the part # was for your front cover on powerstrokeshop.com i can't get it too come up for a diesel. somehow when after removing mine and replaceing the de-aration valve it got cracked where it comes out the drivers side and runs back too the oil fil. i don't know how it happened sense i have too work on it as i go. so im now (always something) needing a front cover no gaskets or HPOP unless its a 17* HPOP for the 180cc injectors. only other thing i can think of doing is getting a welder to weld it. it's just cracked about 2". thanks Jr.

Re: front cover ?

My front cover is different than your's and I can't find a listing for yours either. Call them and talk to Bob and he should be able to get you what you need.

Re: front cover ?

Paul H. i did get to the no oil prob. the valve was still in place but after removing it and checking it out i most def. think its time was up, it was just a mader of time till someone broke the sill on the oil system. you could blow straight through one side and on the the other side it seemed like it just took more air then it should to get it to seal up and block the air. so i just replaced it with a brass plug put her back together and she fired right up and ran for a lil until i notice water driping from the drivers side as it started to get worse. was then i noticed the some how the lil ear on the drivers low side that goes back to the oil fil. was cracked on the water side. so pulling it all off again and haveing it welded back together. i thinking it should be alright sense theres no high pressure. well that about the brunt of it. thanks for all the help. justin r.
